We started gle in 2018 in a small studio in Canggu, with one machine and a small circle of friends who knew how to sew. We still work in small runs, mostly with the same circle, mostly in linen and silk.

We work in small runs with a circle of seamstresses across Canggu and Ubud, most of them friends, most of them with us since the beginning. Materials are chosen for how they age, not how they photograph.
